Our Promise of Quality

Every Shyam Ahuja creation is handcrafted with meticulous care by our skilled artisans. We take immense pride in the quality of our textiles, and we want you to be completely delighted with your purchase.

Should any piece not meet your expectations, we are committed to making it right. Please review the guidelines below to understand our return and refund process.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for standard (non-custom) products, provided the following conditions are met:

The product is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact The product has not been altered, hemmed, or modified in any way Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided

Items that show signs of use, wear, staining, or damage by the customer will not be eligible for return.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the bespoke nature of our craft, the following items cannot be returned:

Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces — All bespoke designs, custom dhurries, and personalised fabric orders
Cut-to-Length Fabrics — Fabrics sold by the metre or yard that have been cut to your specifications
Sale & Clearance Items — Products purchased at discounted prices during promotions
Gift Cards — Shyam Ahuja gift cards are non-refundable

How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our team at returns@shyamahuja.com or call +91-9587372977 within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
  • Our team will review your request and provide a Return Authorisation along with shipping instructions within 2 business days
  • Ship the item in its original packaging using a trackable shipping method

Refund Process

Once your returned item has been received and inspected at our atelier, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days and credited to the original payment method. Please note that it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect, damage during transit, or an error on our part.

Exchanges

We are happy to facilitate exchanges for a different size, colour, or product of equal value, subject to availability. Exchange requests should be made within 14 days of delivery.

If the desired exchange item is of higher value, the difference will be charged. If it is of lower value, a store credit will be issued for the balance.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged during transit or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage.

We will arrange a complimentary return pickup and provide a full refund or replacement at no additional cost. Your satisfaction is our priority.

International Returns

For international orders, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is defective or damaged. Customs duties and import taxes paid at the time of delivery are non-refundable by Shyam Ahuja.

Please ensure that return shipments are marked as "Returned Goods" to avoid additional customs charges.
